  • full tour: 3 hours & 35 euros p.p. (food included in the prize)

Oost is a diverse area. There is the harbour, the area around Oosterpark (Eastern Park), the Indische Buurt (Indonesian neighborhood), the former lake Watergraafsmeer, and the brand new IJburg, built on new (is)lands.

It’s also diverse because a lot of different people & cultures live here. They say that Amsterdam is home to more nationalities than cities like New York. Here you will see why that probably is true.

In this tour we will see the most interesting parts of this big area. We will, among other things, visit the market, the new Oosterpoort, the Watergraafsmeer and it’s very own villa (+great park), the place were Rembrandt used to paint and etch, a beautiful new restaurant at the river, at a lot more.

It Includes

  • the use of binoculars
  • maps
  • clothing against the rain if needed
  • (if time allows it) visit to at least 1 building
